What is MOVERS ERP?

MOVERS ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is an integrated system that the State of Missouri uses to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, procurement, project management, risk management and compliance, and supply chain operations. Finance

The modules within the Finance pillar will allow agencies to manage and streamline financial operations statewide. Leveraging functionalities like accounts payables and receivables, cash management, expenses, projects and grants, and more to ensure the State has accurate financial management.

Accounts Payables

This module enables agencies to support, store and access a holistic view of all invoices and payments. This module includes a host of services including automated invoice processing, paperless approvals, and payables reporting, to efficiently process and pay supplier invoices. With these effective tools, agencies can streamline the process of recording and managing payables transactions.

Accounts Receivables

Account Receivables tracks all balances owed to an agency by customers. This module facilitates the recording, management, and settling of receivable transactions. It also records cash receipts to the State of Missouri whether billed or not.


Cash Management

Cash Management provides Non-State Department of Revenue (DOR) with accurate cash flow predictions and liquidity positions by comparing actual versus projected bank balances. It also includes bank statement reconciliation tools, including automatic, and manual methods.

Budgetary Control

Budgetary Control assists agencies in the planning, monitoring, and controlling of financial resources within their organization.

Expenses

This module enables employees and State liability P-Card cardholders to create and submit expense reports for either employee reimbursement or payment to the bank with ease.

Fixed Assets

Fixed Assets manages and tracks the lifecycle of state assets including buildings, machinery, and equipment. 

General Ledger

General Ledger stores, records, and tracks all transactions across Agencies into one, unified ledger.

Lease Accounting

Lease Accounting records and oversees lease agreements for assets such as property and equipment. This module also acts as single repository for capturing lease terms, right-of-use, amortization, payment schedules, and financial reports.

Project Portfolio Management (PPM)*

This module is a cloud-based project portfolio management solution that integrates grants management, project planning, execution, and monitoring. Oracle PPM Cloud is designed to streamline and manage grants, projects, and financial management processes throughout the project lifecycle.

*Note: PPM module includes Grants Management, Project Contract Billing, Project Cost Control, and Project Financials.

Procurement

The Procurement pillar includes features for supplier management, strategic sourcing, procurement contracts, purchasing, and procurement analytics. These functionalities help improve supplier relationships, enforce compliance, and provide insights into spending and supplier performance. 

Sourcing

This module supports the entire solicitation process from creation to publication. The module also provides online response capabilities for both suppliers and buyers, increasing communication and efficiency.

Supplier Portal

Supplier Portal delivers a centralized tool to create and maintain supplier profiles, including supplier information, addresses, and contacts. The portal hosts an interactive feature that allows the buyer to communicate directly with the supplier, improving communication. The module will also enable supplier involvement and enhance supplier access to information.

Procurement Contracts

Procurement Contracts equips agencies with purchasing, sourcing, and supplier management tools, allowing users to easily acquire goods and services from external suppliers. The module also aids in Cost Savings, Spend Control, and Supplier Relationship Management, thus improving and streamlining procurement efficiency.

Purchasing

This module allows state employees to request, create, approve, and track the purchase of services in one unified way, ensuring compliance and increasing efficiency. The module also serves as a comprehensive solution for handling the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, ensuring that businesses can acquire goods and services efficiently, cost effectively, and in compliance with company policies.


Enterprise Contracts Management

Enterprise Contracts Management provides users with necessary tools to oversee, create, execute, and analyze contracts to maximize operational and financial performance, reducing overhead, and improving contract control.

Supply Management Chain

The SCM pillar oversees the flow of goods, from incoming materials from suppliers to material movement during manufacturing and order fulfillment. It provides visibility into balances, consumption, and finances related to an item or service, from raw materials to their final destination. SCM enables informed decision-making, helping to cut excess cost, avoid stockouts, and deliver goods more quickly. 

Inventory Management

Inventory Management enables agencies to oversee item on-hand balances, store inventory items, and perform and track item movements. These item movements include consumption or returns, transfer items, manage inventory levels, enter replenishment orders, and reconcile and adjust system item quantity with physical quantity.

Cost Management

This module calculates and assigns costs to items by tracking purchase price, receipt transactions, and existing on-hand quantity. It also tracks expenses related to materials, labor, and overhead to determine the actual cost of goods sold and profitability.

Maintenance

Maintenance manages and facilitates state vehicles and equipment by tracking maintenance schedules, work orders, and resources.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing provides raw material planning, production planning, and scheduling of work orders and performs transactions to transform raw materials to finished goods.

Order Management

Order Management streamlines the process of entering, scheduling, processing, reserving inventory, and shipping orders, enhancing the flow from fulfillment to billing.
